Hi everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend. We just wanted to share a few of our favorite pictures from Gina & Mike’s Cape May wedding. The ceremony was held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church and the reception was at Congress Hall.
I hope your weekend is going well! I just wanted to share a few of our favorite images from Kelly and Joe’s wedding at the Valenzano Winery in Shamong NJ. We had so much fun at the new place! There are sooo many unique hidden spots for pictures. Thank you so much Kelly and Joe!
Now here are a few Favs from Lindsay and JD’s vintage spring wedding in Bridgeton NJ. We shot Lindsay’s sisters wedding last fall and had so much fun with everyone. Not to long after I got a call from Lindsay about HER wedding! They were going to get married in Antigua but wanted to have something at home for all their friends and family that couldn’t make the trip. We pretty much just captured some getting ready shots, the ceremony, and the the portrait session. Not being familiar with the area I went up and checked out some locations. We found such an amazing spot for pics! an open field full of cherry trees in full bloom! Then we ran right down the street where there was a meadow full of flowers…REALLY?!??!…that just doesn’t happen every day. The results are below:) Have a great week everyone! I’ll try to get some more stuff up tonight! Special thanks to Mary at A Garden Party Florist and Andrew at Stomping Bread Productions for helping make Lindsay’s day so special.
As I’m sure you’ve all noticed we’ve been quite busy already this season. We have already shot 15 wedding and there is no slowing down for quite some time. Now I’m not complaining at all…….we are a very fortunate to be a busy, growing photography studio:). It’s just that we have gotten a little behind on new wedding posts. We’ve had the pleasure of working with so many AMAZING couples already this season and I can’t wait to spend time with all of our other 2011 couples on their BIG DAY! Below we’ve shared a few pics of our most recent weddings. The most recent being our good friends Nadine and Chris. They were married at the Avalon Country Club this past Sunday. We were worried about the weather allllll week long but I think my little beach blanket bingo inspired anti-rain dance worked!….lol. The day turned out to be BEAUTIFUL! we hit the beach and the fairways for pics after the outdoor ceremony. Then after capturing all of the formalities of the evening we grabbed the crew and tried some thing totally new for a bridal party pic. We sat everyone (well almost everyone) at the bar and set out to pull the shot off. It really did turn out exactly as I had planned …what are the chances of that!?!?!? So not my luck:). Then we ran out back while the moon was still high in the skay to do one of our painting with light portraits. UGH…..everything went perfectly Sunday. Congratulations guys!!! I can;t wait to get everything done for you. Have a great honeymoon!
We just had to share this with everyone! We have been working on our new children’s and family portraiture website. We’re going with the fun and whimsical vibe! Just like our new wedding website is all about our respective brides and grooms to be we want our new children’s/family website to be about the kids and the families. We thought who better to help us with this then our 3 awesome boys, ages 10, 6, and 4! As always they were so excited to help Mom and Dad. Our 4 yr. old Ethan came up with the name Firefly portraits cause as he said “Fireflies are really cool and their butts light up”! Gotta love the stuff that kids say! My wife and I were working on the website logo the other day and our son Spencer (6) walked in with a drawing and proudly proclaimed he made the logo! We all looked at it and said you got it Spence! Just wanted to share Spencer’s original drawing and the finished logo that all the boys helped with! Let us know what ya think guys!
Ry, Col, Nathaniel, Spence, and Ethan:)
